Real Canadian Superstore’s Coupon Policy
Loblaw’s owned stores have their own coupons in-store that can be found at the front of the store on a coupon zone board or pegged to shelves of the corresponding products in the aisles. These coupons are great and can save you a pretty penny when combined with sales.
I’m going to be referring specifically to Real Canadian Superstore in this post because I’m not certain about the policies for the other stores in the Loblaws chain. The best way to find out your local store’s policy would be to call ahead and speak with a supervisor or manager. As of June 2011, this is the apparent Superstore coupon policy. This was sent to me by a reader (Thanks Jamie!) who was forwarded this email by her local Superstore’s store manager. He could not answer whether this would be a corporate wide policy, but I have been hearing at several Superstore locations that they have stopped allowing coupon zone coupons to be used in conjunction with manufacturer coupons because of a new coupon policy. Please keep in mind that because this is rather new, it may not be the case for all Superstore locations.

Coupon zone coupons, LCL flyer coupons, LCL website coupons and President’s Choice Financial coupons are all gladly accepted according to the terms and conditions printed on the coupon. Manufacture coupons are accepted for in store purchased items according to the guidelines listed in section 2.0

2.4 The coupon must be presented at the time of purchase
2.5 A coupon cannot be redeemed against “free” item in any offer where the customer buys more than one item to get one or more item for free (BOGO deals). EG. Buy one bag of chips, get a second bag of chips free – a single coupon can be applied to the purchase of the two bags.
2.6 Coupons have no cash value
2.7 If the coupon value exceeds the retail value of an item, the coupon value will be reduced to reflect the retail of the item.

3.2 Customers with excessive amounts of coupons in a single order may be asked to relocate to complete their order as a courtesy to our other Customers.
3.3 We may change this policy without notice at any time.
3.4 All coupon redemption’s are subject to the policy in effect at the time of redemption.
3.5 Competitor’s coupons are not accepted.
- Unfortunately, RCSS has recently implemented a new cash system that makes it a bit more difficult to use large amounts of coupons there. If you use more than $10 worth of manufacturer’s coupons, an override is needed for each additional coupon that is put in. This holds up the line forming behind you and could waste your time as you wait for a supervisor. Instead, I do multiple transactions to keep my amount of coupons under $10. Coupon zone coupons do not count toward the $10 amount though.
